Place cutting board or serving tray in the spot where you plan to serve your Christmas charcuterie board.
Place bowls and dishes containing candy, jams, frostings, and sugared cranberries on board.
Add cookies and other larger treats in groups.
Fill in gaps with smaller items like crackers, marshmallows, and pretzels.
Garnish as you like, and serve!
Notes
These ingredients are all optional -- just my suggestions! Feel free to swap in your favorite treats!Sugared cranberries: To make sugared cranberries, heat 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan until sugar is fully dissolved. Stir in cranberries and cook for about 1 minute until coated and heated through. Using a slotted spoon, transfer cranberries to a cooling rack with parchment or paper towels underneath to catch the dripping sugar. Let sit for one hour, then toss cranberries in more granulated sugar. Let sit on a cooling rack again for another 30 minutes, and they're ready!
