Notes
Storage and freezing: These fancy Rice Krispie treats contain a bit more moisture than typical Rice Krispies, due to the white chocolate ganache. Be sure to let them cool completely so any excess liquid can evaporate before storing. They should be good at room temperature for up to 4 days in an airtight container, or they can be frozen, well wrapped, for up to 2 months.Gluten-free: Double check your cereal, marshmallows, white chocolate and vanilla to make sure that the brand you purchase is gluten free. In my research I found that Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, Ghirardelli white chocolate ,and McCormick vanilla extract are made without gluten and do not have cross-contamination, but if you are strictly gluten-intolerant you should double check for each ingredient.
