How do you make cinnamon rolls better?

If you're wondering how do you doctor up canned cinnamon rolls, you're in the right place! These Oreo cinnamon rolls Tiktok inspired me to try include bit of heavy cream to help them bake up golden brown and soft, just like homemade cinnamon rolls! And in addition to the Oreos inside the fluffy dough, we'll add even more crushed Oreos on top! The Oreo crumbs add a nice crunch to balance out the softness of the classic cinnamon roll texture!

What is the frosting on cinnamon rolls made of?

The cream cheese frosting for these Oreo cinnamon rolls is so easy! All you'll need to do is combine softened cream cheese with the icing that comes with the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls to make a delicious cream cheese glaze! Your cream cheese should be room temperature to make it easier to mix.

You can also just use the icing that comes with the canned rolls, but I love the extra creaminess of this method!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my cinnamon rolls dry and hard?

If you poured heavy cream onto the cinnamon roll dough before baking, they should come out soft and fluffy. If yours are dry and hard, you may have overbaked your cinnamon rolls. Be sure to begin checking them at 20 minutes.

Should cinnamon rolls touch when baking?

Your Oreo sweet rolls should be touching, but not too close together, since they will expand while they bake.

How do you know when cinnamon rolls are done?

These cookies and cream cinnamon rolls are ready when they're golden brown on top. If you baked them close together in the pan, they may need a few extra minutes to be fully done.
