How do you make cinnamon rolls better?
If you're wondering how do you doctor up canned cinnamon rolls, you're in the right place! These Oreo cinnamon rolls Tiktok inspired me to try include bit of heavy cream to help them bake up golden brown and soft, just like homemade cinnamon rolls! And in addition to the Oreos inside the fluffy dough, we'll add even more crushed Oreos on top! The Oreo crumbs add a nice crunch to balance out the softness of the classic cinnamon roll texture!

- crushed Oreo cookies - the best part! I make these Oreo rolls with lots of crushed Oreo cookies, plus even more for topping for major Oreo lovers! You can crush your Oreos in a plastic bag with a rolling pin, or in a food processor on medium speed.
- heavy cream - This is the secret to these Oreo cream cinnamon rolls! Adding the richness of heavy cream before baking turns canned sweet rolls into the most fluffy cinnamon rolls ever!
What is the frosting on cinnamon rolls made of?
The cream cheese frosting for these Oreo cinnamon rolls is so easy! All you'll need to do is combine softened cream cheese with the icing that comes with the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls to make a delicious cream cheese glaze! Your cream cheese should be room temperature to make it easier to mix.
You can also just use the icing that comes with the canned rolls, but I love the extra creaminess of this method!
Equipment
You won't need too many tools for this Oreo cinnamon rolls recipe -- just an 8-inch baking pan or a 9-inch baking pan should work. You can also use a cake pan or even a pie pan -- whatever you have! You may also want to use a rolling pin to crush your Oreo cookies.
Instructions
Check the recipe card below for detailed instructions, but here are the basic steps for these Oreo cookie cinnamon rolls!
Unroll canned cinnamon rolls out on a surface that has been lined with parchment paper (save the icing for later). Sprinkle crushed Oreo bits onto their cinnamon filling, then roll them back up into their original shape.
Place rolls in an 8- or 9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray and pour heavy cream evenly over the top of the dough. Bake them until they're golden brown and fluffy.
Mix together softened cream cheese and the cinnamon roll icing in a small bowl until smooth.
Spread over the top of warm cinnamon rolls after baking, and enjoy!
Hint: Top your easy Oreo rolls with even more crumbled Oreo cookies!
