Easy Cinnamon Rolls Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches
I have an undying love of fresh peaches! But the best part about this recipe is that there's no need to wait for peach season to make it! You can make your cinnamon roll peach cobbler using canned peaches -- no peeling or slicing, and they're always ripe and delicious!
Of course, if you have fresh or frozen peaches, you can definitely use those too! Either way, this easy cinnamon roll peach cobbler is a winner! And if you love the spices in this recipe, you'll definitely want to check out my Chai Spice Bundt Cake!
What's the difference between a peach cobbler and a crumble?
This cinnamon rolls peach cobbler has a gooey cinnamon rolls topping from the cinnamon rolls, making it soft and doughy. A crumble, on the other hand, has a crunchy, buttery topping made of flour, sugar, and sometimes oats or nuts.
Both are tasty, but cobbler is more cakey while crumble is crispier. And in this recipe, the cinnamon rolls take this delicious dessert to the next level! If you're looking for more of a crumble texture, check out my Strawberry Crisp!
Ingredients
Check the recipe card below for the full list of ingredients and measurements, but here's. quick look at what you'll need to make this easy cinnamon rolls peach cobbler:
- canned peaches - you can use either canned peaches or fresh or frozen peaches in this cinnamon rolls peach cobbler! Either way, the juicy peaches are the star of the show!
- granulated sugar - adds a lovely amount of sweetness to this Tiktok cinnamon roll peach cobbler. If you like, you can also substitute brown sugar!
- lemon juice - adds a nice tartness to the peach filling.
- butter - we'll use butter to grease our baking dish, and some melted butter in the filling too. I like to use salted butter, but if you prefer unsalted butter, just add in a pinch of salt.
- cornstarch - the best way to thicken the peach filling!
- nutmeg - the flavors of cinnamon are a major part of the cinnamon roll topping, but for our fruit filling I wanted to add in a bit of nutmeg to complement it! And if you love spices, check out my Cake Mix Apple Cobbler!
- vanilla - for the best flavor, I like to use pure vanilla extract. Or you can make your own!
- Grands cinnamon rolls - pre-made cinnamon roll dough is the "secret" ingredient for our peach cobbler topping! But instead of using the smaller Pillsbury cinnamon rolls like in my Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Donuts, you'll want the big Grands refrigerated cinnamon rolls! I like to just use the icing that comes with the sweet rolls, but cream cheese frosting would be delicious too!
- vanilla ice cream - there's nothing better than a bowl of warm cinnamon rolls peach cobbler with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
See recipe card below for full ingredient list and quantities.

Frequently Asked Questions
We won't be doing it in this cinnamon roll peach cobbler recipe, but it's always a good idea to pour a little heavy cream over any traditional cinnamon rolls before baking to make them richer, moister, and the most fluffy cinnamon rolls ever! That's the trick I use for my Oreo Cinnamon Rolls!
It depends on your preference! I like peach cobbler with just nutmeg, but cinnamon is also always welcome! So the cinnamon flavor that the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls gives this cobbler is perfect!
Again, it depends! Many southern-style cobblers are made with pie crust, while other recipes call for a biscuit-like topping, and still others bake up a cake-like batter around the peach filling. In this case, our cobbler topping comes straight from the cinnamon roll tube! And if want to try another fun cinnamon roll recipe, check out my Cinnamon Roll Apple Pies!
You sure can! Just peel and slice your peaches -- you should have about 4 cups in total. Then add them to the filling and continue the recipe as usual! You can also use frozen peaches in a similar way, but the only thing is that you'll want to thaw and drain them first for best results.
Top Tip
Be sure to serve this cinnamon roll peach cobbler warm with vanilla ice cream!

This looks and sounds incredibly delicious! Question, do you think peach, blueberry or cherry "pie filling" would work instead of fresh peaches?
Chenée Lewis says
Absolutely! You could use that and skip the remaining filling ingredients -- makes it even easier!
